The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is a self-emptying and self-washing robot vacuum and mopping cleaner. Its unique washing system can wash the robot’s mop during cleanup and when mopping is completed. This is the first time we have seen such a system in a robot vacuum that can mop your floors too.

The S7 MaxV Ultra also recharges 30% faster than previous robot vacuums and uses their ReactiveAI 2.0 with light 3D scanning to recognize objects on your floors. You can also talk to people or your pet in the room through the robot’s onboard mic. But one of the best features of this robot vacuum is its suction power. The S7 MaxV Ultra has 5100Pa suction power. Most good robot vacuums come with suction power in the range of 2800Pa to 3000Pa. Ecovacs N8 Pro +

Ecovacs N8 Pro+

Ecovacs N8 Pro+ Review: Powerful and a bit quieter while it cleans

The $699 Ecovacs N8 Pro+ works on both rugs and wood floor, and allows you to customize the settings on power cleaning, scheduling and more. A big plus for this robot vacuum is that it comes with an Auto-Empty Station, which means the N8 Pro+ can empty the bin on its own. The N8 Pro+ Pro did a fine job mopping too. It uses their laser-based LiDAR Navigation and advanced dToF sensor to help map you floors and avoid obstacles. Robot vacuums are rarely strong moppers, but for some light cleaning, this one worked well. And the company claims it can pick up more than 99 percent of bacteria with its high efficiency 3-layer filter and 2600Pa suction power.

The Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro+links easily with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa enabled devices and has a 110-minute run time on a single charge. This is about 2000 square feet.

The Deebot N8 Pro+ lists for $699 and is available on the company site as well as Amazon.

Roborock S5 Max

Roborock S5 Max

Roborock S5 Max

We're pretty sold on the $599.99 Roborock S5 Max, one of the first robot vacuums we've seen that is a good smart vacuum, but can also handle mopping very well. We think the ability to adjust how much water is coming out of the S5 Max is what flips the device to a very efficient mopping robot.

You can also schedule the S5 Max, and block off rooms virtually in the app. The vacuum is extremely powerful, and you can run it via an iOS and Android app, and it also works with Amazon Alexa meaning to get the S5 Max running, you just have to ask.

Roborock S7

Roborock S7 Review:

Unique child-friendly feature makes the $650 Roborock S7 robot vacuum worth a look

The $650 Roborock S7 is a really nice robot vacuum, powerful both as a mop and vacuum, and has some virtual features as well as physical ones such as a child safety lock. There's a clean design, with a roller that helps it avoid small things, like hair, from being tangled.

You can adjust the levels of mopping strength and also the vacuuming power. There's also a 'Do Not Disturb,' mode so that you can keep the robot from moving about during meetings, and you can also create a set cleaning schedule. Be aware it won't connect to Amazon Alexa, but it will connect to Google Assistant. Overall, though, we think the S7 is a solid robot vacuum, easily worth an upgrade if you're buying a new device — or great for a first time user.
